Burnaby

The original town of Burnaby started out as a rich agricultural era which supplied the markets nearby. More recently the city has become a more important transportation corridor between Fraser Valley and the Interior, Vancouver. Its name was taken from Robert Burnaby, who was a private secretary of Richard Moody, the first land commissioner in the Colony of British Columbia.
