Theory Programs
The crane training school features a strong grounding in theory related to power-line safety, regulations, inspection and site dangers involved in crane operation. Trainees will get understanding of hardware applications, load charts and rigging. Direct feedback and quizzes during the course will help individuals training solidify their understanding.
Theory course topics: Introduction to crane certification process; safety fundamentals for crane operators; crane operation knowledge; rigging knowledge; load chart knowledge; crane rigging charts; crane service and maintenance and crane set-up and pre-trip inspections.
Practical Programs
The crane training school features practical training including hands-on learning. This part teaches trainees how to identify crane components and terminology. Trainees will have the chance to practice skills needed for crane signaling, operating and signaling.
The topics included in the practical part consists of: Identify crane components and functions; Learn crane terminology; identify rigging and wire ropes; use remote control; identify regulations and documents for wire rope and rigging; pre-use inspection on crane; carry out proper lifting and lowering of loads; carry out rigging methods and utilize hand signals and radio.
